THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

This is information about you that you give to us by filling in forms upon activation of your HDA product, updating your HDA product or provide to us in the purchasing of an HDA product or provide to us on any of our websites (our sites) or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. It includes information you provide when you register to use your HDA product or register with our sites, subscribe to our service, download our software search for a product, place an order on our sites, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions on our sites, enter a competition, promotion or survey, and when you report a problem with our sites. • Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to our sites and each use of your HDA product we will automatically collect the following information:

  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL), clickstream to, through and from any of our sites (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call our customer service number.
• Information we receive from other sources. This is information we receive about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. We are working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies). Permissions

ACCESS NETWORK STATE
We need permission to carry out a network scan to identify any other HDANYWHERE devices on your local home network. This helps customize and improve your user experience. We do not read or analyse any file on your network other than to identify another HD Anywhere Device.

CAMERA ACCESS
We need your permission to access your camera where you want to make use of our built-in functionality which allows you to use a photograph as a wallpaper background. In order to upload a photo you will need to grant us access to your camera.

STORAGE ACCESS
We need this permission to access any photo you wish to upload as a zone wallpaper background. In order to upload a photo from your photo library or camera roll, you will need to grant us access to your device storage. We do not read or analyse any file on your device or camera roll other than the image you [take/upload].

• Information we receive from other sources. We will combine this information with information you give to us and information we collect about you. We will use this information and the combined information for the purposes that we have described in this policy (depending on the types of information we receive).

THE INFORMATION WE MAY DISCLOSE

You agree that we have the right to share your personal information with:

• Any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.
• Selected third parties including:
  • business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors and hosting providers for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you;
  • analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of our site;

Any HDA Pro, Installer or other third party that you give permission to use your personal information or is provided with access to or has your personal information disclosed to them are solely response for their use, storage and processing of your personal data, HDA does not accept any liability for the actions of any HDA Pro, Installer or other third party in respect to their access, storage, use or processing of your personal data. You should contact your HDA Pro with any questions about their use of your personal data and their own Privacy Policy.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored at, a destination inside the European Economic Area (”EEA”). It will also be processed by staff operating inside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. This includes staff engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
